Sawchuk & D'Occhio Dental team is experienced in pediatric dental care, treating the dental needs of children from infancy through the teen years. Our Dentists and team will care for your child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood.

We strive to create a relaxed and FUN environment while addressing your child's dental needs.

For our very young patients: It is generally recommended that a child be seen by a Dentist by the age of 1 or within 6 months after his or her first tooth comes in. 

For a young child, the first dental visit is usually brief and involves very little treatment. This visit gives your child an opportunity to meet the dentist in a welcoming and friendly manner.  During the visit, the Dentist will examine your child's teeth for decay, bite, and look for any potential issues with the gums, jaw, and oral tissues. If necessary, the Dentist may recommend tooth cleaning by an in-office Dental Hygienist and assess the need for fluoride.
